Cultivating Everyday Life

Designed for a couple who share a love of gardening and outdoor living, this two-bedroom residence reimagines the relationship between house and landscape. Rather than treating the garden as a separate element, the design integrates planting throughout the home, creating a living environment immersed in greenery.

The defining feature of the residence is the elevated balcony enclosed with aluminium framing, which functions as both a garden room and a tranquil retreat. Filled with natural light and surrounded by plants, it provides a unique space where the owners can nurture their collection while enjoying a constant connection to nature.

The home's compact footprint is carefully arranged to maximise openness, daylight, and views of the surrounding landscape. Large openings, planted terraces, and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions allow greenery to become an integral part of daily life.

More than a residence, the project is a celebration of the owners' passion for gardening, a home where architecture and landscape grow together over time.
